Last Saturday, I attended a photojournalism workshop at the Georgia National Fair hosted by the Grady College of Journalism at UGA. These are a few of my favorite moments from the fair.
The State of American A-Fairs
I woke up at 6am Saturday morning to the flash of lightning outside of my window. I needed to leave within the next hour to ensure that I made it to the Georgia National Fairgrounds on time for a photojournalism workshop. I was feeling pretty angsty– I hate driving in the rain, it was fall break, and I wasn’t traveling with my team to our game against Western Carolina.
All in all, that does not make for a great morning, but luckily your morning doesn’t dictate the rest of your day.

I am a young twenty-something bride-to-be with a lot of opinions and very little time. This blog will be filled with pictures, creative content, DIY disasters (and occasional successes).
In less than a year, I will be shedding my maiden name and entering one of the biggest unknowns– married life. Come watch my journey as I grow up, learn, and make mistakes.
